Atty. Virgilio J. Cabanlet

Atty. Virgilio J. Cabanlet established his private law practice in 1975, after three years of service as the Assistant City Prosecutor of Cagayan de Oro City. Since then, Atty. VJ has been known for his exemplary work in Corporate Law and Litigation---Civil, Labor and Criminal Cases.

He is currently retained as counsel of major banking institutions such as Metrobank, Bank of the Philippine Islands, and China Banking Corporation and corporations such as SM Prime Holding, Inc.

Atty. VJ is also an expert in Appellate Practice with the National Labor Relations Commission, Regional Trial Court, Court of Tax Appeals, Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court.

Atty. Zara Teodora B. Cabanlet

Atty. Zara Teodora B. Cabanlet joined the Firm in 2009, after her two-year law practice as a Junior Associate of Quiason Makalintal Barot Torres Ibarra & Sison in Metro Manila.

She has gained intensive experience in Corporate Rehabilitation Proceedings before the Securities and Exchange Commission, Regional Trial Court, Court of Appeals and Supreme Court.

Atty. Zara has actively participated in government procurement and privatization of power generation corporations, due diligence projects, incorporation of various corporations, foreign and domestic including their registration with the Board of Investments and Philippine Economic Zone Authority.

She has also been immersed in Intellectual Property and Infringement cases, Land disputes, Labor disputes, and other civil and criminal cases, including appellate practice of these types of cases.

Finally, she is also experienced in mergers and acquisitions, estate tax settlement, estate planning, and tax free transactions.
